At The Sherwood Academy, we like to learn by doing. Our curriculum is custom designed and re-evaluated each year to meet the needs of our enrolled students. Preschool students enjoy a thematic curriculum full of fun, engaging, hands on activities and learning opportunities. Their days include play-based learning, exposure to an early academic foundation, cultivation of fine and gross motor skills, age appropriate social development, fine arts, as well as outdoor learning in our very own Clipstone Park.  Grade school students (K-9) thrive with our curriculum that tailored to each child’s specific needs and based off of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. Students are also provided opportunities to explore Spanish, fine arts, STEAM lab, library, and physical education.  Sherwood’s reading support program and gifted talented program each supplement an already diversified program. In addition, our  grade school students have opportunities with Destination Imagination, Choir, and Student Leadership.
